This kitchen refinishing project changes the original brown wood cabinetry to a slate-blue finish, paired with metal bar pulls and crown molding. White countertops and a horizontal subway-tile backsplash contrast with the blue cabinets, while wood flooring and natural wood trim add warmth. The peninsula provides seating and a sink-side work area, with white appliances and geometric pendant lights completing the space. Before and after photographs show the change in the cabinet finish.
